The AFRL Munitions Directorate (AFRL/RW), Integration & Operations Division (RWO), Security Branch (RWOS), seeks to hire a DO-0080-02, Security Specialist at Eglin, AFB in Valparaiso, Florida.
The ideal candidate will have industrial security experience developing DD 254s for coordination and approval; experience in developing Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA), Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIA), and Visitor Group Security Agreements; and managing all aspects of the Industrial Security Program for AFRL/RW.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
Monitors the overall security administration program of the organization.
Provides guidance and assistance to supervisors and managers in the areas of industrial, personnel, and information security.
Implements policies and procedures covering the safeguarding of classified information.
Provides advice to managers on the policies, instructions, procedures, control systems, and methods for such activities and functions as safeguarding and use; personnel access controls; need to know criteria; physical storage and control; and transmitting, transferring, reproducing, emergency protection and removal, and destroying classified information.
Implements unit security education and motivation programs.
Participates in Unit security managers meetings and acts as unit security manager.

Telework options can be negotiated and implemented after entrance on duty Eglin AFB, FL Required Qualifications US Citizenship Position is designated Special Sensitive; incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
This is a drug testing designated position.
The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.
Travel and/or performance of additional duties may be required.
At least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade:
DR/DO-01, GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems.
This position will require the following certifications IAW with AFI 36-2645:
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
